The group stops to learn about the recently excavated remains of Tai Penamnen the seat of Maredudd ap Ieuan, founder of the Wynns of Gwydir. We also learned that Maredudd ap Ieuan had a wife in each of the local villages. Conversation dried up for a time while the male members of the group contemplated this.
