1. Llyn Padarn Circuit38 views2/7/26. The group photograph taken on the Llyn Padarn path close to Pen-y-Llyn very close to Craig-y-Undeb. The mountains either side of the Llanberis Pass can just be seen in the background.

3. Llyn Padarn Circuit35 views2/7/26. The duck came along after the photo of members having their morning panad was taken, but they were still sitting there when the duck appeared. So the duck was inserted from a photograph taken by Gwynfor Jones. Several ducklings (not photographed!) appeared later.

6. Llyn Padarn Circuit33 views2/7/26. Climbing up the path and into the woodland beyond we came across a very rustic looking bridge. Since the group rather hid the finer points of the workmanship, there is a smaller photograph inserted (bottom right) showing what it looked like before we got on to it.

8. Llyn Padarn Circuit32 views2/7/26. Crossing the Afon Rhythallt at Pen-y-llyn with just a few more yards to get to our cars. Did we stop there. No we straight away went the way we had just come to visit Caffi Caban in Brynrafail. See next photograph.

7. Llyn Padarn Circuit30 views2/7/26. Finally at the bottom of what was a very long, steep and uneven path. A chance to recover. We were about half a mile from Brynrefail and close to the end of the walk.

4. Llyn Padarn Circuit29 views2/7/26. At Gilfach Ddu at the SE tip of Llyn Padarn where the Llanberis Lake Railway crosses the road, which it did right in front of us. Excellent timing by our leader.

5. Llyn Padarn Circuit29 views2/7/26. A brief stop outside the Llanberis Quarrymen's Hospital. Its elevated position must have given patients some lovely views were they well enough to appreciate them. Just round the corner was the Mortuary which was built in 1906 according to the plaque on its wall.
