2. Moel Siabod Foothills23 views19/04/26. What an amazing sight, clusters of tadpoles. All crowded in the shallower warmer parts of the pool. They didn't move until we got close.

5. Parys Mountain - Mynydd Eilian23 views28/6/26. The steam pump-house at the eastern edge of the quarry. No sign of the machinery. It is home to a large bird's nest made from tree branches. The bird species unknown but it must be a big one.

9. Parys Mountain - Mynydd Eilian23 views28/6/26. On our way back. With the hill Yr Hald (105 metres) to the left on the photo we are on the return and will shortly be walking through grassland on the southern side of Parys Mountain. There was just a little hold up at the stile.
