4. Parys Mountain - Mynydd Eilian36 views28/6/26. The highest point in the quarry 147 metres, close to the windmill. So far so good. The windmill acts as a visitor information centre. We sat outside to have our morning panad.

5. Parys Mountain - Mynydd Eilian36 views28/6/26. The steam pump-house at the eastern edge of the quarry. No sign of the machinery. It is home to a large bird's nest made from tree branches. The bird species unknown but it must be a big one.
