2.Cwm-y-Glo18 views8/6/23. A memorial plaque marking the area where in 1869 six people died when the two tonnes of nitroglycerine that were being carried in two horse carts exploded. The 'X' in the last photo shows where a cart wheel and harness were found following the explosion which was half a mile away. Photo: Dafydd Williams.
