22/02/26. Morning paned (morning break for tea/coffee/soup) at the copper mine at about 1450ft. The mine was highly productive in the early Victorian era, with ore transported to Porthmadog, Swansea, and Liverpool for smelting. The site features old mining tips, and remnants of the old tramway, which can be followed to the mine. Photo: Eryl Thomas.
